Question: I would like to know if threading is permissible on islam, like upper lip , face and eyebrow? Answer: Threading of the upper lip and face is permissible, however threading of the eyebrows is Haraam. It comes in the hadith something to the effect that : '' nabi salalahu alaiyhe wasalam said that Almighty Allahs curse is on the lady who shapes the eyebrows & the lady on whom it is done '' (muslim) |
