Question: If a girl who is of marriageable age desires to marry a man who also desires to marry her yet her father disaproves of the marriage due to him wanting her to finish her studies first and also disaproves of the boy because the father believes it to be impropper for his daughter to marry a man from a war torn country. Both the girl &boy who find ways to see one another feel that they can no longer resist becoming intimate with one another now wish to perform nikkah to save themselves from further sinning.They want to make nikkah with a few of the boys relatives present but the girl has no wakeel.What should these two do.The girls father uttered the words ''i will curse you if you marry this man'' Answer: They should speak to the brother, or uncle etc and they should give permission then the nikkah is valid. |
